２０２０年最初の新作は、
竜崇縫靴店を語る上で欠かせない、
重要な逸足になり得る予感がします。

Imocoの着想として選んだのはデッキシューズ。

新作の構想段階でお客様にお話しすると
この意匠に良い印象をお持ちでない方が多かった。

定義では、切り込み入りのラバーソールを使用し
水中に入ったときに靴が脱げないよう、
履き込み口から甲に回して結ぶ紐が付いている靴。

メジャーどころからキワモノまで
靴の種類は無数にありますが、
その中でも特に脚光を浴びない
いなたい靴の代表格。
スニーカーしか持ってなかった大学生が
お洒落に目覚めてABC martで
初めて買うカジュアルシューズって
いうウブなイメージもある。

世界各国のシューズブランドから出ているが
取り決められた様に同じ顔の靴作ってますし、
甲板で滑らないモッサいラバーソール付いてるけど
いつ船乗るねん！って突っ込みたくなるし、
絶妙にダサいのをただ模倣しているように思えて
見ていたらなんだか怒りを覚えました。

なので作りました、格好良いやつ。

懐靴 Imoco

従来のデッキシューズは、
upper(表革)とlining(内革)の間に
紐を入れ込み製作しますが、
懐靴 Imocoではシューホールを貫通させることで
ご自身で手軽に紐を交換できる仕様になってます。
紐は勿論、リボンや使わなくなったハンケチーフを
裂いて着けたりすると凄くecoやし素敵やん？

Conventional deck shoes are made of a combination of upper and lining,
between the upper and the lining.
However, Imoco shoes are made with laces inserted between the upper and the lining,
However, Imoco’s deck shoes have a shoe hole through which the laces can be easily replaced by the wearer.
The laces can be easily replaced by yourself.
You can also use ribbons or handkerchiefs that you don’t use anymore.
It would be very eco-friendly and nice if you tear a ribbon or a used handkerchief and put it on, wouldn’t it?

丸紐じゃなければ足に当たっても痛くないし
初めから履き口を高めに設計していたら
カウンターも十分入るので問題も無い。
穴周りも一個づつ補強も兼ねて縫ってます。

If they didn’t have round laces, they wouldn’t hurt when they hit your feet.
If the laces were designed with a higher opening from the beginning, there would be no problem.
If we had designed the cuff higher from the beginning, there would be no problem because there would be enough counter space.
I also sew around the holes one by one to reinforce them.

思考停止した浅はかな意匠の踏襲はせず
情熱とアンチテーゼを持って、新しい定番をつくる。

だんだん春めいてきましたね。
今年も名作を沢山作って参ります。
